Due Diligence
A biotechnology industry client needed to understand the global epidemiology of a rare genetic disease and corresponding market opportunity of a particular therapeutic. Northeast EPI supported the client by reviewing the disease biology, identifying published estimates of patients with the disease, competitive landscape, and developing a market model.
Risk Assessment
A travel industry client wanted to understand the relative risk of COVID-19 hospitalizations and deaths to assess the impact of COVID-19 on travel demand. The project entailed identifying global COVID-19 epidemiology data sources and hospital availability to assess which countries were safe to recommend travel to.
Outcome Design and Assessment
A clinical research organization needed help understanding how to measure and benchmark the representativeness of clinical studies. Northeast EPI helped the client identify a new benchmarking methodology in the medical literature and adapted their database to enable the assessment.
